Call for Papers
Invitation to submit papers to the WALIS Inernational Forum 2008
This invitation is your opportunity to contribute to the WALIS International Forum 2008 by sharing your knowledge, experience and insight with over 650 spatial industry peers.
The Forum will be held at the Perth Convention Exhibition Centre in Perth, Western Australia. Located in the heart of the city, the Centre borders the Swan River and is within easy reach of the CBD, Perth Airport and Fremantle.
The aim of the WALIS Forum is to provide a platform for delegates to share insights, develop networks and gain knowledge and understanding from the work achieved, being undertaken and planned for the future. The theme of this Forum, Public Private Partnerships, aims to demonstrate initiatives in the use of geographic information involving collaboration and sharing of information across government and the private sectors.
Chosen abstract authors will be
given the opportunity to present complete or work-in-progress projects.
This year, you may elect to have your paper published after the
conference by submitting it for peer
review and feedback.

interesting, we would love to hear from you.
Abstract Guidelines
If
you are interested in presenting at the WALIS International Forum 2008, abstracts
should be no more than 250 words and must be submitted online. You can also download an abstract template. Please note that authors of any abstracts submitted may be offered to present orally or as a poster.
Abstracts
should clearly communicate the value of your experience and, where relevant,
provide examples of how the information can be applied.

The closing date for abstracts is 28 September 2007, with author notification to be finalised by 31 October 2007.
